The Can Do Dialogues Podcast

The Can Do Dialogues is a series of 15-20 minute podcasts that share the stories of people and organizations that are leading in their communities by making a Can Do difference. The first series focused on personal stories of hope and inspiration which came about as an outgrowth of my first book, The Can Do Chronicles.

Workplace Dialogues: In December 2015, I will launch a new series of podcasts to coincide with the release of my second book, The Can Do Workplace: A Strengths-Based Model for Nonprofits. The first four guests are the CEOs of the four extraordinary nonprofit organizations that are featured in the book. Tune in to learn more about what makes these special organizations rise above the rest - both as places to work and for the exceptional work that they do. More will be added in the months to come.

Can Do - Personal Stories of Hope and Inspiration: I have met some people who personify CAN DO so genuinely that I want to share their stories – stories of ordinary people who act with gratitude and grace in the face of some very difficult problems and challenges.

These informal interviews provide motivating, inspiring and encouraging examples of how a very diverse collection of people from around the world have created – and are willing to share – their Can Do lives. They are the people who give me hope and who keep me going when I am tired or discouraged and seek an easy way out. I share them here in the hope that their stories provide a similar lift in your life’s journey. The launch of original series of the Can Do Dialogues at Thanksgiving of 2014 coincided with the publication of The Can Do Chronicles in paperback.

By telling our personal stories of challenges we have faced, choices we have made, and what we learned from the outcomes we can inspire others and share our own wisdom.  Because stories allow us to express our values not as abstract principles, but as lived experience, they have the power to move others.    Marshall Ganz
